"I studied my children, and they taught me how to teach them.”

~ Maria Montessori

Villa Montessori is a non-profit,  non-sectarian program that encourages independent, self-directed achievement.  In turn this develops self-confidence and positive self-image for the child. Our school was established in 1964 and is affiliated with NAMTA (North American Montessori Teachers Association) and is a  "Full Member School" with AMS (American Montessori Society). Our Montessori credentialed teachers, together with parents of our students, form a closely bonded community. Our Montessori program focuses on strong fundamental academic preparation in language arts, science, mathematics, music and coordination.

Villa provides a comprehensive education based on Montessori  principles and methods. At Villa the staff works diligently to provide an ideal learning environment based on Montessori principles that will guide and nurture the full development of our students. Villa offers a rich and varied program for children ages 2 years, 9 months old until entry into the first grade.

All of us at Villa Montessori, our Staff, Board of Directors, and parents are working to provide a happy, fun and productive educational experience for our students. We invite you to contact us and schedule an observation of our class today.
